This Privacy Policy explains what information Eden Rose After Dark (“we,” “us”) collects through Eden Rose / After Dark Magazine at edenroseafterdark.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.
When you sign up, we collect an email address, a hashed password, and an optional username you choose. We never store your password in a form we can read — only a one-way cryptographic hash.
We do not collect or store your card number or other payment-instrument details. Those are entered directly with our third-party payment processor’s own hosted checkout page. We retain only the resulting transaction record (amount, date, status, and a transaction reference) for accounting and legal-compliance purposes.
The date of birth you enter at the age-verification prompt is used only to confirm eligibility for that browsing session and is not stored in our database. If we introduce a third-party age or identity verification service in the future, that provider’s own handling of your information will be disclosed at the point you use it.
Photos and magazine pages delivered to your account carry a visible watermark tied to your membership, used to deter and trace unauthorized redistribution of protected content. If you use the Site’s messaging feature, the content of those messages is stored so the conversation can be displayed to you and to staff.
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your age-verification during a browsing session. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your login is permanently removed immediately. Transaction records are retained afterward with any direct link to your account removed, because we are required to keep financial records for accounting and legal-compliance purposes regardless of whether the underlying account still exists.

Photos and magazine pages are kept in access-restricted storage and served only through time-limited, member-specific signed links rather than public URLs. Login attempts are rate-limited to reduce the risk of credential-stuffing attacks.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information.
The Site is restricted to adults 18 and older and is not directed at minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete that account and the associated information promptly.
The Site is operated and hosted in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your home jurisdiction.
